Why on Earth are we now going to be subjected to video "trailers" of upcoming albums? Ok, we survived the 'album art' announcement the ridiculous 'track listing' announcement the 'studio video outtake' announcement, and the fake ass 'leak'…but no, no that wasn't good enough.
Now we are going to have the band stand on flaming beaches with stoic faces looking mean and fierce and cool and use Instagram lighting and heavy bass tones to get you fired up…. for an album that will net maybe 3 good tunes and 9 duds, a short tour where they will sell 2 million rubber bracelets and then……return to the studio for 4 years
This to me is the most wasteful idea of all time and if I were in charge of the company that came up with this lame ass idea someone would be pink slipping- and this report wouldn't even exist. What's next? Direct Mail?
