I haven't seen Radiohead on stage since (gasp!) the Kid A tour… where they sucked. Prior to that, I saw them every time they hit town. So this Friday at Prudential Center is a homecoming for a band I love to hate…. and who I've been warming to over the years.
Monday – Afrika Bambaataa – Highline Ballroom – 30th anniversary of "Planet Rock". Enough said?
Tuesday – Timothy B. Schmit – BB Kings When the members of a huge band (in this case the Eagles) play solo, catch the bassist.
Wednesday -il Divo – Beacon Theater – Opera for people who think Andrew Lloyd Webber is Mozart
Thursday – Denny Laine Trio – Overwhelmed by Paul McCartney and lost in the Moody Blues, I'd be real interesting to see what else he has offer… if it was closer to nyc.
Saturday – Colbie Caillat – Summerstage – If she was headlining, I would heartily recommend it. Instead, I'll just remind you how great "I do" is.
Sunday – Summer Jam – Metlife – Kinda weak this year. Nicki Minaj is headlining and Rock Ross is second in command… what? Drake busy?
