I hate a mob scene.
It is all so common denomator.
People get an idea in their heads and won’t let it go.
A good example is the uniformly terrible reviews of Lil Wayne’s rock album Rebirth. The critical establishment are in perfect agreement: the album is rotten through and through. Bur what if the critical establishment is wrong?
A lot of it is pretty good hard rock with beats and raps and including and some more than fair vocals all autuned and distancing and when lil Wayne is joined by a good singer, like Shanell on “Running” , it is powerful stuff.
A handful of real good tracks, a coupla woofers, and a solid B+ in my opinion. So why nobody -not one person, had a good word to say about it, is a little strange and a little dissatisfying… or maybe I mean a little obvious.
