Decoded frontman, Dereck Jordan, has organized a series of concerts in May in support of five charities. Each Thursday, Decoded is going to rock their residency at the AMPLYFi with other local bands for a great cause, ‘Rock For A Difference Los Angeles’, which will feature a different non-profit each time. Check this out:
May 3rd – Ace of Hearts, a rescue dog foundation
May 10th – Create Now! which takes care of abused, neglected, homeless kids and teen parents
May 17th – Coalition for Clean Air which targets the worst pollution sources in California in order to improve air quality
May 24th – HeARTS Giving Hope a program which helps children find their voice through music and art.
May 31st – Rent.Food.Broke which provides information about free and cheap events and help people during this tough economy times
Talk about wanting to change the world!
At the top of this, Decoded will soon release their debut EP, 'The/Split'. I saw them at the Roxy not too long ago, and they sure did rock out the place. You can check out their music here, I heard they give free mp3s away.
