Superhero movies never live up to comic books. We try, we have special effects but really its more power of the mind than visual. Look at Chris Reeve in Superman movies and it looks lame. Same with The Hulk and even Batman.
So hell lets do The Avengers! Even the press shot looks silly. Those are grown up men and women in spandex suits. Theres some hefty paychecks for that as well.
But, as mentioned the soundtrack is actually spiffy. It will contain a new song by Scott Weiland titled 'Breathe', how interesting… Scott, as we all know has lost his marbles and lives in a tiny world of his own. He still though has a fantastic voice, he just has a bit of a problem acknowledging that he don't 20 anymore- hell, don't we all.
The tracklisting for The Avengers Assembly is a tougher list than most films. I suppose with Dolby and other theater perks they would need something drown out the sound of defeat
