Perhaps my dear Mr Manson stick to making spooky cover tunes. Me First and The Gimme Gimme's do fabulous punked out covers and add this to Mansons resume of redo's.
Johhny must be the guitar and some soft back up. Maybe like the "Sweet Dreams" video he is just there for eye candy? Dunno cuz there is nothing to see in this video nor in a song. I love Marilyn Manson and the song is pretty good too but with the Munsters type bass thump going on in the back its sorta lost some cred.
This was a pay back for Marilyn's gratis performance at Depp's son's birthday party earlier in the month. The whole lot of them are weirdos- but then again its all an act. While on thist topic if we put Jack White, Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson in a blender, no one would notice.
Not awful and not fabulous its just another creepy karaoke. Manson does such fabulous originals it sorta cheapens him. Will there be a cover per album? Hmm, "Personal Jesus", "Sweet Dreams"…whats next? Let's hope its something just as weak..maybe "MMBop"
