Today, once again, there was a fight in my school. This time, the fight was between an 8th grader and 9th grader. When I heard about this fight (I didn’t have the opportunity to see it), I simply heard that two girls had fought. Later I learned something much more interesting. Apparently, the aunt of one of the girls jumped in and punched her niece’s assailant. Of course now, as I type this, the Hartford, CT PD is all up in the High School Office.
Can we just think about this for a second though? This woman saw her niece fighting a girl and her first reaction was to assault the other girl?? What is actually wrong with people today. That’s seriously one of the most ghetto things to happen in this school and I’ve been going here since 7th grade. If you see any two children fighting, especially when you’re the only adult present, the obvious course of action is to break.up.the.fight.
I think what I find most appalling is the fact that this was an adult who hit a girl. I think fights are not only pointless, but extremely immature. Fights during a hockey or rugby game? Sure whatever you’re playing a sport that is rough by nature. Drunken bar fights? Understandable since both parties have presumably had their judgment removed by the effective application of alcohol. But school fights and ghetto street brawls are, in general, stupid.They happen among those whose pre-frontal cortexes of the brain have not fully developed: teen gangsters and 14 year old bitches.
If you are over the age of, let’s say, 21, there is no reason for you to be hitting a girl in a fight at a school. That’s all there is to it. You should be mature enough to know how to handle a situation like that.If you aren't, clearly you’ve got some therapy to work your way through. Or maybe you should go back to high school, or college, to strive for higher education instead of a higher number of scars on your knuckles.
