Anybody who has read Keith Richards memoir or his frug runner Tony Sancehz's "Up And Down With The Rolling Stones" will know that the recording of the Stones greatest album, Exile On Mainstreet, is almost as exciting as the album itself.
Produced in Richards basement studio in the South Of France, the cops were after them for drugs, Richards was hopelessly addictied to heroin, the place was a madhouse of friends and hanger ons, Anita Pallenberg was worse than Keith… and Jagger was trying to hold it all together.
Now comes news that a movie of the recording of the album is in the works from Virgin Films (aka Richard Branson) and if they get it even close to write it should be a great great thing!
So who will play the glimmer twins?
I choose Guy Pierce for Keith, Johnny Depp for Mick.
