BEARDCORE! I don't think there is much that can compare to Dan of Four Year Strong in a bathing suit. That's one hairy dude! I love this band like crazy. It takes allot for a hardcore band to age (and they are) and mature (which they also are) and still maintain a recklessly fun rock and roll aura.
This video shot while the guys were in Australia gives a great glimpse into the workings of this band. Fun and work with friends. They have a cohesive vibe that cant be faked- they love what they do, and they do it well because of that.
The tune 'The Infected' has gotten allot of heat, the "old" fans think they've changed and sold out. I disagree I think its a great grown up vibe. There is still cause for a circle pit, but there is no need to bust your head open anymore.
There are some great shots of the band on charter buses and trains with fans and on their own, supposedly seeing the sights. The only disappointment is that all the live footage is side stage. A cool vantage point of course but it would have been nice to have it spliced in with some front view clips. Just sayin'.
Still a great tune, great video and a great time. Love Four Year Strong, and I always. will.
