For want of a stronger word… bummer. In an interview with the Guardian, Damon Albarn has said that Blur's set at the London Olympics in August will be their last. Which means, unless he plans to stop everything and get over here, no US Tour and certainly no nyc concert which is closer to the point.
Damon has made hints and allegations of a US tour since the begriming of the year and I am, on a purely personal level, majorly annoyed and you can tell him that.
What the hell… how can Blur reform and not make it to new York. For fuck's sake they sold out the Academy on THE PARK LIFE tour. We've been behind them since Leisure, when they played some downtown place (I head, I didn't make it myself). Sure, we got Gorillaz at MSG (who have apparently also disbanded) but who cares? I didn't think they were all that even with half of the Clash in the band. BUT BLUR. This really sucks. I haven't seen em since Thirteen.
Will somebody get Damon on the cell?

Look, it is really simple fuckface. I bought Mali Music and in return I want to see Blur before they wrap it up and I DO NOT WANT TO GET TO LONDON DURING THE OLYMPICS.
