Last weeks SNL was a repeat of your October 26th, 2012 performance. Man, you was on though, indeed. Superb on "Headlines" and pure pop joy with "Nicki Minaj on "Make Me Proud". I think you knew Take Care was gonna kick even there. You were in such a great mood, even on the Digital short.
I was never a huge fan before, I thought your rap on Mary J. Blige's "The One" was the pits and hadn't forgiven you. But the performance turned me around and Take Care ended the year on my top ten list.
I thought maybe you would play a quick gig in nyc as long as you were in town. Maybe Roseland, wishful thinking Beacon Theater. And along with an AMEX presale I would have been so there.
Well, six months later and still you are elsewhere.
Why, Drake? Don't you love us any more? The closest you get to nyc in Indiana in June. Eh? Let me explain how it works, we call this the Bruce Springsteen School of Touring.
1. You play nyc.
2. you go to Europe
3. you play nyc
4. you tour the states
5. you play nj as part of the tour (but ignore nyc)
6. you end the tour in nyc.
Is it that difficult?
How do you not know that?
I mean really, I want to see you NOW not a year after your fucking album finished peaking. So stop dicking about in Arizona and add a night at MSG.
