What the heck Cirque Du Soleil, you’re closing Elvis?
Cirque is cool as heck although a bit disturbing. Anyone who can swing from a ribbon is nuts anyway but these extravaganzas bring in the crowds and with good reason. Simply said its pure entertainment visually and auditory.
The Beatles “Love” has to be one of the coolest concepts ever. I have not seen it live but the filmed versions show a trippy fun LSD-free adventure into the fab four. Elvis Presley has a Cirque too- but ya better hurry to Sin City if you want to see it cuz its nearly done.
To be replaced with “Zarkana” a 12-act,75-performer “acrobatic rock opera” that opened to mixed reviews inNew York last year before moving on to Moscow and Madrid. The show centers around a magician looking for a lost love- how emo.
Cirque will have seven concurrent shows in Vegas after “Zarkana” and “Michael Jackson: Immortal” will openthis year. But the Elvis has left the circus.
