Model Christy Turlington Burns, who recently founded Every Mother Counts, ‘an advocacy and mobilization campaign to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally’, is teaming up with Starbucks to release ‘Every Mother Counts Volume 2’, a compilation which will benefit her organization.
The compilation will be available in the US from May 1-29 and will feature a lot of top artists, just check out the tracklist below.
It seems like a nice and generous project, but honestly, there are a lot of tracks I will never care about till I die, as there are the usual suspects, Bono, The Edge, Chris Martin, Eddie Veder, and Sting who jumped on the project as predicted. However, I am intrigued by Beck’s 'Corrina, Corrina' (not sure if it is a new song), and of course by a rare duo between Paul Simon with his wife Edie Brickell:
