Madonna Mom: Hard Knock Life

I'm not going to lie – it's hard work having four kids and doing all the work I do. Sometimes I cope with it very well, sometimes it's a struggle."

So says Madonna about the joys of being a working Mom. I read somewhere that she is even learning how to speak French so she can talk to her African adopted children.

I know what you're thinking and I agree, Madonna can't have the slightest idea how tough it is to be a working Mom.

But.

Life is an entirely subjective experience, it is about what happens to me. And it always ends the same way, in death. And death always comes to soon. If we lived 1,000 years maybe not. But a hundred? Max? It isn't long enough.

So anyway, whoever  it is,and however special or smart or lucky they are, they face life the same way: sorrow is too heavy, and joy tends to hold you with the fear that it will soon be gone. And since, with all the will in the world, you can only be just so empathetic, Madonna's problems with raising four children are quite as terrible as yours.according to contactmusic.com, Madonna has written about the experience in the less than eloquent "I Don't Give A…":

", in which she raps about "the life of an ex-wife", "custody" and "pre-nups", apparently in reference to her failed marriage to Ritchie.

She adds, "It's about the life of a single mother. It's a challenge juggling everything – multi-tasking is my middle name. I try to express that."
