Must See Concert? Radiohead At The Prudential Center

The Prudential Center is my second favorite Arena in the Tri State area. I work a block from Penn Station and it is a fifteen minute train ride from  Penn and a five minute walk, through Newark so don't text on your way, to the most recently opened big room in town.

The place is clean, large, good site lines, good sound. Food is too expensive of course but that goes with the territory. And the tickets? Sell out slower and 20% less expensive than MSG.

So Radiohead playing May 31st and June 1st? What do we think?

We think I haven't seen Radiohead in years, I think 2005 was the last time at Theater at MSG and they sucked, BUT, the main reason I haven't bothered them with again is because they keep playing Roseland and fuck that. It isn't worth it.

Prudential? Nice comfy arena, beer and dogs, all American experience with the all English computer boys? Caribou are the opening act but you can always go there late if two computer generated drags are one too much.  I think it might be a must see. If I can get a ticket. If.  I don't think I can but I'm willing to try. I can't find anything about a presale though there might be a fanclub one.

And though nobody was that keen on "The King Of Limbs", I liked it more than most simply because I expect so much less…
