We haven't mentioned the boys in awhile but they're still around and touring like crazy. Seems their Twitter and Facebook accounts are always abuzz with airports and tour stops. Its a nice thing to see.
The band is getting well earned critical acclaim and developing a really odd fanbase. I don't know any 'real' metal bands that offer 'free temporary tattoos and valentines' if you purchase their merchandise. That's more a pop band offering but then again BVB are cute enough to get away with that (though I wonder if damages their tough guy visions?)
Regardless, I am just very proud of them and glad that rocknyc caught them before they took off. We're so cutting edge. Heck check our interview from 2010!
Two and a half years later and there is more to come. Word is now that new recordings are happening.
To quote Jake Pitts:
"We send things back and forth to work on each other's ideas. We're all constantly writing for this next record. Set The World On Fire only came out on June 14, it's amazing that we're already making plans for another one but it's important to stay relevant. As long as we're making great songs I have no problem with the pace at all … We are in the very beginnings of the process still but we're due in a studio sometime from April to June."
