Craig Mabbitt is an extremely charismatic lead singer. He has taken some huge hits when he first stepped up in the band Escape The Fate. After the 'departure' of Ronnie Radke, the fan girls barked, no one could fill the pretty boys shoes.
Of course not, cuz Escape The Fate is not a pretty boy band. Craig Mabbitt was the man to fill it. Leave the rest for the scenesters to wait for Radke to be released from the can. Mabbitt stepped in and owned the job. ETF continued to grow and prosper with their new leader and for actually gain some critical acclaim.
Why a solo tune? I'm worried. I don't want ETF to end and I certainly hope they have no intention of taking Radke back once his little 'Falling In Reverse' bit comes crashing down.
Mabbits new song is pure wonderful. Tough but intelligent with some amazing drum breaks. It's tough when you're held in such high regard, inevitably you will fall short at some point. This is not happening here. Mabbitt steps up to prove he is just as strong and determined on his own as he is with ETF. Take note, he will be just fine should he chose to leave the band.
I have seen him live numerous times. This is a no bull fun spirited true LEADER in every sense of the word. Although, I would love for him to remain the QB of ETF, I'd follow him solo just the same.
