The Cult and Flo Rida, Mash Up The Super Bowl

This just proved that with some good editing you can blend just about anything.  The Cult's fabulous song "She Sells Sanctuary" with Flo Rida "Good Feeling" in an ad for Budweiser.

The Superbowl is a pop culture phenomenon.  One game two teams and everyone has something to say about it.  You're either a football fan or your a Superbowl fan, the line blurs.  Its really a day for non sport fans to eat wings and scream in the living room without the commitment of actually supporting a team.

Proof of this fact is how commercials are at times more anticipated than the actual game.  Commercials are grand productions, in this case Budweiser's one-minute spot is a happy dance through several decades of fun in America that begins with the end of Prohibition in 1933. WTF?
'She Sells Sanctuary' reached No.15 on the UK charts and was a top 40 dance hit in the U.S. In a review, one journalist wrote, "Duffy's liquid, quasi-psychedelic guitar intro over a buzz of flanged feedback suddenly rips into a triumphant, driving lead melody that's jaw dropping."

Makes perfect sense for a beer ad.

Not to sell Mr Flo Rida short, his tune was a hit as well but the big news for his career is that he will be entering the recording studio with Paris Hilton in the near future.  Dream Big- Go Pats.
