Foo Fighters Fundraising for Obama

2012 is an election year, so we have to expect a few fundraisings. The Hollywood reporter is announcing that the Foo Fighters will headline Barack Obama’s February 15th concert fundraiser that will be held at the estate of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ producers Bradley and Colleen Bell.

Grohl has been an active supporter of Obama, as he already played last year for the president at the White House. Think what you want about Grohl, but his opinion about Obama is probably as right as it gets:

‘I don’t know if he’s a rocker, but he definitely has soul. When he looks you in the eyes and shakes your hand, he just means it. I’ve met him a few times now, and everyt ime I see him, he comes over and says, “Hey man, how are you doing?” He’s very informal and sincere.’ He declared to Red Bull USA a few months ago. Sure he has soul, didn't he cover Al Green recently?

This is what Grohl added regarding his support to the president:

‘He’s got the toughest job on earth. I would hate to hand the administration over to another party that is just focused on corporation, greed and money. You know, I’m a fun, peace-loving guy, but sometimes the right wing gets a little too selfish.’

Just a little Dave?

Only 1000 tickets will be sold, at the very reasonable prices of $250 to $500, so you have to hurry up if you want one. Come on it must be interesting to hang out with all the beautiful people who will be there, plus you will get to see the Foo Fighters. However, what will  follow becomes much more inaccessible, since it will cost you $35,800 per person to have diner with all these people and Will Ferrell. Oh well, it's a fundraising.
