Fatherhood hasn’t turned Jay-Z’s head too much, he didn’t even take a break. Not only he recorded a song right away – the umbilical chord was still attached to the baby girl that her voice was already on tape – and he hasn’t lost any minute regarding business: it was just announced that he signed a multi-year global agreement with Duracell as an investment partner and as the face and voice of the new Duracell Powermat JV.
Jay-Z declared his faith in the future of this technology:
‘I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution. I'm partnering with Duracell Powermat because they're providing the solutions for the future’.
Yeah wireless energy, Powermat (a wireless pad that allows you to charge your phone) is great and all,… but the result isthat Jay-Z will make tons of money one more time. He is a billionaire, sold his clothing line for more than $200 million, hasn’t had a single which did not go platinum, has a $150 million deal with Live Nation and he and Beyonce are the top earning couple in the music industry! How much money does he want his Blue Ivy to inherit?
But Stassi Anastassov, President Duracell, P&G, could not be happier about the choice:
‘When we thought about bringing together representatives from best-in-class categories, Jay-Z was the natural choice to be the new face and voice of Duracell Powermat.’

Well I guess,next time Jay Z and Beyonce are having a baby, they can buy the whole hospital instead of just renovating a floor.
