AC/DC debut single sells for $1225 on eBay

"Can I Sit Next To You Girl", sure is profitable.  27 bids came in for this auction starting with a $2 bid on December 31. The winner placed their first bid on January 2 for $500, then jumped to $700, then $888.75, $1000, $1100, $1155 and finally $1225. Why?

This first single features none other than Dave Evans. The b-side was another original 'Rockin' In The Parlour'.  Theres are the only songs with Evans who was replaced soon after by Bon Scott. The single debuted on May 8, 1975. it was never released outside of Austraila but reached number 19 on their charts.

Ya gotta be a hardcore fan for something like this and the band should sign it and pick up a bar tab as well for the bidders loyalty.  AC DC is one of those hard rock bands that wil never die.  They can age and crumble and people will be shooting up the devil horns just the same.  Desptie the now terrifying image of the school boy uniform.
