The UK Express reports that Ringo Starr and Eurythmics member and producer Dave Stewart got together to collaborate on the upcoming album "Ringo 2012".
During this writing process the two became so enthralled that they began a second project. An entire musical. According to Starr although originally the vision was Broadway, it may just go to film.
"Me and Dave wrote a musical, a complete thing – characters, story, a lot of songs. We wrote it for Broadway, but it will more likely end up (as) a movie… and I'm not telling you anything else. It's about other people."
"It's about other people" is the only area of interest in this whole post. Who? Movie musicals are tough these days, excluding Glee 3D of course, that was brilliant, but a gossip musical? Now you're talkin!
