MFT 12-22-12

1. Snowed In At Wheeler Street – Kate Bush feat Elton John – An 8 minute epic of identity, reunion and time as an identity, revolving around a question: "Can't you see that should've been me…" John explains, and the two lovers are dazzled through time, getting nowhere.

2. In The Dark – Dev – Vocoder using, echoey, tramp dance misappropriation by Proper Villians.

3. Rumour has It/Someone Like You – Glee – Proof of Adele's lousiness, is its inability to withstand the Glee onslaught. Ps: the segues suck as well.

4. I can Change – LCD Soundsystem

5. Jack Daniels – Eric Church – Church is such a bugger for the booze this sounds like an alcohilic's lament.

6. Unkind – Sloan – I think I forgot this on my best of 2011 list

7. Goodbye England (Covered In Snow) – Laura marling – I bet this ends up on my best of the teens list.

8. Jesus Fever – Kurt Vile – Apt enough given the time of year and though I'm not a Vile fan, this is pretty good indie folk.

9. Breaking Down – Florence + The machine – So when does the tour kick in???

10. Hurt – Leona Lewis
