I saw this a little bit too late and I have lost a good occasion to make a few people jealous (Iman included). According to the LA Times, DJ Deadmau5 and ex-LCD Soundsystem James Murphy will join their forces to offer a show Saturday at the Hollywood Palladium.
The event, billed as ‘Hard X mouth Taped Shut’ will celebrate the release of the much publicized ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ movie, and the best part of it? It was a free show with a reservation at hardfest.com website, but it has already reached capacity, not surprisingly.
I still don’t get why Deadmau5, James Murphy, Proxy and Eye are having this dance party while NIN Trent Reznor has composed the score of the movie, can someone explain? Plus I thought Murphy had retired.
