1. All I Want – Joni Mitchell – What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving then with a Canadian national treasure. A love stoy about a thwarted desire cradled in a melody awash with hope.
2. Hello Sadness – Los Campesinos – Ooooh, abd then a Welshman! How unpatriotic. I'll get to the album at a later date but the short review is i'm disappointed… again.
3. Marry The Night ( The Weekend And Lilangelo Remix) – Lady Gaga – On first listen, I'm not too thrilled by the Born This Way remix album, but I am thrilled by this atmospheric take on Gaga, beats and handclaps move into the background and the background harmonies haunt Gaga.
4. Radio – Yelawolf – Guess what the sampple is. Just guess… OK, here's a clue: it was the first video on MTV.
5. I Love A Lassie – Sir Harry Lauder – Listen to an "r" go where no "r" has gone before, when he sings "as purrrrre as the lily in the dell."
6.I'm Gonna Run To You – Bridget Mendler – Disney alumni, signed to Hollywood Records (aka Disney radios fave), comes up with a lovely pop rocker with a sorta 1950s feel to it.
7. Breaker, Breaker – GZA – A great use of a CD radio as a hook off his follow up to Liquid Swords.
8. Mean – Taylor Swift – Best moment in Wednesdays gig.
9. Do You Think I Really Care – The Rolling Stones – Jagger re-recorded some of this vocals. I can't hear the difference. "I see you in the subway, I see you on the "D" train.
10. . Someday Soon – Judy Collins – Don't write em like this any more, " He loves his damn old rodeo, as much as he loves me…"
