Call them courageous or crazy depending on how you see things! But when Morrissey announced a ‘secret’ show at the Music Box on Hollywood boulevard, people started camping out, sleeping outside and braving the cold (yeah it is quite chilly during the night).
The tickets went on sale on Tuesday at noon, at the theater box office only, and some brave fans were already camping on Monday morning although the Goldenvoice email I have received was saying ‘no line-ups allowed prior to midnight’ on Monday!
It is an intimate show for Morrissey, and a very unique occasion to see him, but it was quite a long process for the fans as they had to return to the box office to pick up their tickets the day of the show, Wednesday November 23rd.
There was a 2-ticket limit per person and tickets were not cheap by the way, $75 and cash only! But it was Morrissey so close, you may have touched him.
