Thursday on Hiatus

Thursday has been around for nearly thirteen years and has inspired countless bands to follow their dreams and become musicians.

Unfortunately, they've now announced that they are going on an indefinite hiatus.  Read what member Geoff Rickly said:

"Thursday will be playing our final shows, starting tomorrow night and ending with our tour in Australia. We would love to see you all one more time.  So please, if we're near your city, come out and have fun with us. It has been our pleasure and honor to make music for such wonderful people over the last thirteen years."

There seems to be no reason for why they're stopping, but whatever it is I trust their decision.  I just hope that this is a short hiatus.  It's a shame that such an influential band is stopping.  I also hope that they tell us what the cause is for the hiatus.
