On Sunday, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced a world tour for 2012. Springsteen's official website is saying that the European dates, which will be announced this week, will be from the middle of May until end of July, whereas the US dates and the World tour dates will be announced very soon.
Another good news for Springsteen’s fans? A new album, still untitled, is said to be almost done, and released in 2012.
His last tour, ‘Working on a dream’, was in 2009, and the boss wrote on his website that the band was ‘incredibly excited’ about the new year.
With Keith Richards claiming that he has hopes for a Rolling Stones tour in 2012 to mark their 50th anniversary (although Jagger seemed to rule out the idea), Radiohead having already announced dates for their upcoming tour, and Paul Simon planning a Graceland anniversary tour, 2012 will certainly be the year of all the heavy-weights!
