This is this time of the year already! The 22nd annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, the two-day event organized by the Los Angeles radio station, has announced its lineup.
But too bad if you liked the line-up of the first night (Blink-182, Bush, Chevelle, Incubus, New Found Glory, Social Distortion, 311, Young The Giant) because it is already sold out! Young the Giant? They have gone a long way, I saw them at the Troubadour 2 years ago.
The second night is as usual more indie oriented if there is still such a thing: The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant, Death Cab For Cutie, Florence + The Machine, Foster The People, Grouplove, Jane’s Addiction, Mumford & Sons, The Naked And Famous, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Again Grouplove? Funny they were opening for Young The Giant at the Troubadour the first time I saw them.
The event will happen one more time at the Gibson Amphitheater on December 10th and 11th, and ticket prices range from $79-75 to $150 plus fees per night. Night two will be on sale on Friday November 18th at 10 am PST, so be quick! It actually may be already too late when you read this.
