Its funny, how you forget an artist you love then remember and get that jolt of excitement. Parker does this all the time to me. What a great voice and a fantastic sound, so 80's to me. Although Squeezing Out Sparks was actually the late 70's.
He and his band The Rumour made huge strides in the day and as solo Graham has not sat still. In the spring of 2011 Parker reunited with all five original members of The Rumour to record a new album. The record, tentatively titled Three Chords Good, is due to be released in 2012 in conjunction with the film This Is Forty, in which Parker will have a small role.
His website is full of great updates and bootlegs. This is not a man resting on his laurels by any means. Today he celebrates his 61st birthday- not too shabby!
