Jay-Z's Occupy All Streets T-shirt, Back Online

I don’t want to write about this story every day, it’s the third time I try to write about it, and every day there is a new situation!

First Jay-Z’s Occupy All Streets t-shirts were on sale on the Rocawear online store, then they were removed from it over the weekend after the news broke up that the proceeds from the shirts would not go to the Occupy Wall Street protestors. But on Monday they are back up again? What is this little game?
On a side note, according to the Village Voice, they are only available on back-order, and you will have to wait till December 16 if you buy one!

The hip-hop news website GlobalGrind spoke with an inside source and thinks that the media reports were false, the internet having blown the news out of proportion, and declares: ‘We're rockin' with our man Jay-Z. As long as he's still selling the shirts, we're definitely buying 'em and supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement!’

What was blown out of proportion? I don’t get it…. And this declaration is so misleading, the problem is still there, buying a t-shirt does not make you a supporter of the movement, the Rocawear spokesperson said it clearly before: ‘At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.’

There is so much confusion with Russell Simmons in the middle of all this, tweeting his support to Jay-Z every day, and showing his face among the protestors with mute-bling-wearing Kayne West.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is fighting against unequal wealth distribution, but showing your face and tweeting about it doesn’t accomplish much. I don’t know if Simmons really thinks that Jay-Z is supporting the movement by selling these t-shirts, or if he is he faking it?
Whatever, Russell Simmons and Jay-Z, I have news for you, you are not part of the OWS movement.
