Can someone please tell me why You Me At Six, channeled their inner Nickelback? I got excited, then I died then I just got confused as Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes jumps in to try and save it.
You Me At Six, is a great band but uh oh, someone needs to put them back on track. The song begins well enough with a powerful beat and deep sound but the chorus? The chorus is the most dreadful generic rock band inspired wavelength of vomit I have heard in a great while. Its as if they just said 'aww fuckit' and threw it on tape.
Oli- I appreciate your efforts and you're looking well but holy shit RUN from this project you deserve a bit more than you're gonna get here and its like putting cake frosting on a pork rind.. its gross.
I am sure that their new release, Sinners Never Sleep, due out on December 5th will no way reflect this three minutes of hell. I have faith. As a side note the bass on this track is great and prevented me from whipping my speakers across the room.
