The band will perform 2 nights in each city. An album will be performed in its entirety each night. This trend is getting a bit tired. Its ok to make a set list. If you are a band like Creed who hasn't really slammed the charts in a great while it might be best to mix it up a bit.
Playing 'intimate venues' is really just a nice way of saying that's all they can fill at this point. Perhaps they will regain popularity with these album shows, though I am unsure how they're sounds is now.
The shows take place at Chicago Theatre April 13-14, Philadelphia’s Tower Theatre April 16-17, and New York’s Beacon Theatre April 19-20. In each city, the first night is devoted to the band’s debut album, 1997’s My Own Prison, and the second to 1999’s Human Clay.
My Own Prison and Human Clay are very special albums for us and I look forward to performing them for our fans,” singer Scott Stapp said. “The songs bring back a lot of great memories for me and I hope for them too.”
The band has been around for fifteen years-hard to imagine and wow things have been quiet up until now.
