Jon Bon Jovi has take on role as restaurateur in a new 'pay what you like' establishment in New Jersey. In a time when one in five households are living below the poverty level, Mr Bon Jovi will give you a meal and if you cant pay, you can work it off
'Times are tough and we understand,' it says at the sites website. 'f you are unable to pay for your meal, you can volunteer at the Soul Kitchen as your payment. As you will see, our menu has no prices. You select what you like and make the minimum donation. If you can afford to donate more you are helping to feed your neighbor. If you are unable to donate, an hour of volunteering pays for your meal'.
JBJ Soul Kitchen at 207 Monmouth St, Red Bank, New Jersey is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 5 and 7pm. Rumor has it you could see Jon himself washing dishes.
