HBO is working on a 70;'s inspired show that is described by the Hollywood Reporter as an
“ hour long drama project that follows the exploits of a cocaine-fueled record executive in New York City circa 1977, when punk, disco and a new form of music called hip-hop collided.”
Actually sounds like a great show!
Showtime is also working on the same idea listed as " a 70s-era music industry drama entitled Vinyl that “explores every aspect of the music business through multiple vantage points — from the record executives and rock stars to the drug pushers and the prostitutes, from the stage to the boardroom to the DJ booth.”
So apparently the 80s are once again dead and now the 70's are back. Get your mullets its party time.
