The Flaming Lips are quite busy people and are always projecting themselves in the future,.. you want the proof? They already have plan for next year Record Store Day on April 21st 2012: According to Billboard.com, Wayne Coyne is working on a compilation of collaboration tracks with other artists like the ones they have done with Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt, Prefuse 73, as well as other in-the-work tracks featuring Death Cab for Cutie, Ghostland Observatory, Cloudland Canyon, Nick Cave, and may be Ke$ha and Lykke Li!
The already released collaborations with Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt, Prefuse 73 were limited editions, sold in selected stores all over the country, so this new compilation will certainly be well received by fans that could not get their hands on a physical copy!
Coyne added that, later in the year, around October, a second compilation of collaborations will be released.
Nick Cave? I want to hear this one! Also last night Coyne was tweeting about his experience at a Portugal. The Man’s concert, so who knows
