Its a sad day but Chrissie Hynde, front woman of the Pretenders has announced the closing of her vegan restaurant VegiTerranean. The Akron Ohio establishment is yet another victim of a tough economy. Vegan and vegetarian restraints are few and far between. Reports show that vegans make up less than 5% of the American public.
Hynde, an avid if not fanatic animal rights supporter had opened the establishment four years ago. I am sure she will embark on another entrepreneurial Endeavour and continue for justice for the animal population,
