Rap great Nas has copped to being the inspiration behind Amy Winehouse's "Me And Mr. Jones". Nas's name is Nasir Jones and he was introduced maybe to Amy by producer Remi, according to New York Daily News who got the story off XXL.
Nas said, "I don't really remember if Salaam [Remi, producer], who was really close to her, who introduced us, if he told me about it or notI don't remember right now. But, I heard a lot about it before I even heard the song."
It's a really good song, a doo wop-y come on.
