Ahh my elusive Alesana. A stage full of brilliance. Masters of their art bathed in sweat and black clothing. The top high vocals with the guttural growl, pure perfection.
From tiny closet sized venue to enormous hall Alesana steps on stage and rule the world. I am ever captivated by their performances. I am loyal to the death of their music choices and changes. I have been smashed into walls tripped into the pit and knocked around it never matters.
When Alesana take the stage the entire world halts. For the duration of their time they tell a story, they paint mental images and they throw 110% of themselves (albeit at times rather tanked but meh…they're still kids) into the show and unlike most hardcore bands- they put on a show. Not just sing and move on but real camaraderie and interaction. its a wonder to behold and I have lost track of the number of times I have seen them- but I know that i will see them next on October 13th.
They have just released a new video for the song "Sins of The Lion", its a great peek in at their relationship as a band and the stage presence they have. The song- another glorious masterpiece of course. New release, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent on Epitaph, October 18h!
