I wrote about the France Rocks Nights but didn't have the place the October 19th and October 20th showcase would be performed. It will be at Hiro Ballroom and Santos Ballroom, the former one of nyc's best rooms, the latter not so much.

It is a really good website, very informative. Revolver we know, but now we also know Zenzille and Make The Girl Dance are so excellent they are revelations. A Thursday midnight set I would stay for, except Make The Girl Dance are only DJing. Zenzile, whose 2009 Pawn Shop is a phenomenal work: moody, angular, oddly beautifu, are playing the earlier 11pm set and I am very excited to see this excellent band. If they were Yanks, they would be on Merge by now. It's a shame they changed the venue to Santos.
I'll be there Wednesday -you, being young and beautiful, should check out both.
