Hot on the news that X will be touring with Pearl Jam is this little late night gem. Pearl Jam appeared on Jimmy Fallon on September 30th and did this beautiful tribute to Pink Floyd's "Mother".
Stripped down and clean, Vedder drops it down a notch and holds back his yodel vibrato just enough to send a really nice chill down my spine.
I wouldn't consider myself a Pearl Jam or Pink Floyd fan but I can accept greatness when I hear it. The dynamic of the compact stage the house lighting the simplicity of it all just works beautifully.
The only part off putting? The weird dancing balcony- sorta odd. I will say that I absolutely love the postage stamp sized stage.
