I think this should be done more often, a famous rock song transformed into a children book! David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ was drawn by illustrator Andrew Kolb and the result is very cool! There is no hard copy but you can download it as a pdf file here:

It’s probably a song everybody has a special connection with, but the sad ending ‘Can you hear me, Major Tom?’ is really not the warm-fuzzy-Disney thing always served to kids, but I actually like that.
However, the story in drawings becomes very concrete, Major Tom is really an astronaut in a spaceship,…. the lyrics were vague enough to have let people think the song meant something completely different, but yeah it's a kid book.
