Well since the 80's seem to be back in full force it only goes to figure that The Bangles would be right there seizing the opportunity.
Word is out that the girls will have a new release September 27,Sweetheart Of The Sun, their first release in over eight years. Susanna Hoffs and Peterson sisters Debbi and Vicki, recorded this beauty in the home studio of long time associate Mathew Sweet.
But what good is a new album without a tour? Starting off Oct. 1 in Philadelphia at Theatre Of Living Arts. Other stops include New York City’s Highline Ballroom Oct. 3; Boston’s Wilbur Theatre Oct. 4; Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club Oct. 6; St. Louis at The Pageant Oct. 8; Indianapolis’ Egyptian Room Oct. 9 (don’t forget how to walk); Chicago at House Of Blues Oct. 10; and Minneapolis at the Fine Line Music Café Oct. 11.
I will spare you the "Manic Monday" and "Walk Like an Egyptian" jokes. But remember- it's been a long time, the gals have aged.
