Well its get on the bandwagon time and cash in on a pop song. Adele is the new 'it' girl to most and despite our review here, is going strong like the next best thing to sliced bread.
What the Neon Trees are doing in covering "Someone Like You" is beyond me. I suppose if they are big fans of the song itself that would make sense, sorta like singing in the shower for all to hear but I think its more for the exposure. The song is weak and gender awkward. This soundcloud offering has highs tha are too highs and an odd pitch change mid way like a bad edit- not sure on that.
If the Adele fans go for it, hot diggity Neon Trees score some new followers- if they dont approve theyre going to get slammed. What about the Tree fans, those that are blinded by their 'greatness' will call this 'amazing' and those with proper hearing will have a WTF moment.
