The Black Eyed Peas have announced the rescheduled date for their Central Park show. Originally the band was to play “Concert 4 NYC” on June 9th but massive thunderstorms sent the band packing.
The new date is September 30th, on the Great Lawn.
“I don’t know where to begin to tell you how proud I am to be performing here at Central Park for our rescheduled date,” will.i.am said according to Reuters. “And how sad I was when it got canceled by lightning.”
As a side note the concert is actually a benefit for The Robin Hood Foundation for the poverty stricken and Pea Pod, which helps disadvantaged children.
