Kah Bang Music, Arts, and Film festival is this weekend in Bangor, Maine! Wooo. Finally, another excuse to go camping, have strange and random encounters with strangers, and act in a way that I normally would not, because, well, I was at a music festival.

Saturday Hi-lights!!
You Stage–
Chromeo– Ever since the day I first heard, "Fancy Footwork," my view on electronic music changed forever. I was now open to a whole new world, (much like Aladdin), of music which lead me to all the countless sub-genres, Techno, "crazy/electro/funk", DnB, Dub/mashups, and newly created by DJ Axis Powers, "Mash n' Scratch Step". Pumped to see what P-Thug and Dave1 will bring to a live performance.
My Morning Jacket– Seen these bad mama jammas twice already this summer, and each time they killed it harder than the Grim Reaper. I expect them to rock it just as hard, if not harder because summer is ending and so is the festival season, (tear).
Everyone Else We Know Stage-
The Infinities– Still haven't seen our, (NYC's), hometown hero's live , besides a few rehearsals I sat in on. They have a great opportunity to show ALOT of people their set, and it couldn't be at a more open-minded festival with better vibes. Lazerdisk Party Sex– Never heard of this, but they have a wicked cool name, so I'll be there. Great names can really be a tipping point for anything.

Don't pass out too early because we have a 2am silent disco at the camp site. If you are un-familiar with what a silent disco is, lets go there.. Everyone gets a set of headphones as the enter the dance tent/area/room/wherever it will be. Now everyone is jamming out to what are on their headphones, I have been to silent disco with multiple options of music streaming live from two DJs that were on either side of room, but sometimes there is just one single option. This is cool/fun/different for many reasons. Mainly, its 2am, so other trying to sleep can, yay for them. Second, if you would like to maybe ask the name of the cutie you are dancing with, BAMM!, you take off your headphones and its silent.. too silent, maybe keep one ear on. BUt now you can have an actually conversation. Sweet. Any its different, and (most) people like stuff thats different. I know I do.
