"Pop Punk's Not Dead" Tour With New Found Glory

New Found Glory fans are loyal.  They will throw down there life for these guys and for the life of me I cant figure out why.  Obviously, I am missing somehting.  NFG is generic as the genre 'music', their lyrics are cookie cutter and live although not horrible surely arent outstanding.

What they have is an 'it factor' that you either get- or you dont.  I  dont.  The name of the tour is a joke if you ask me, again "pop punk", what the hell is that anyway?  Sorta angsty, wishy washy, kinda a bit upset but not really Ill get over it, punk rock angst?

Again……white noise.

NFG has a new release on the horizon, theyve been around since about 1996 which means 14 years of mediocrity.  Nice job if you can get it, sorta like working for the State or something.
