Craig Ferguson narrates and chants this theatrical song from Disney's, Winnie The Pooh. The Backson, are those that do any negative in your world. The whomever gets blamed for all that goes wrong.
Not having seen the film (yet), I can take this song at its value out of context. Adorable enough as the characters in dialog are identifiable and announced and the rousing bass drum gives it more 'umph', but…
Why are we discussing The Backson? What's become of Christopher Robin? Why are all the characters sitting about casting blame upon the Backson and where in the story does this fit?
The problem with movie soundtracks is that the tracks may not be able to stand alone. Had I seen the film first this song would have brought forth different imagery, that of the film itself. Without it its a knitting circle of pigs and donkeys complaining and finger pointing like the bittys down at the Church guild.
That being said there is something far too adorable about Piglet to really go on a tangent here. Pooh is wonderful and stupid, much like alot of people I know, there is a soft spot for him in each of us.
I see the soundtrack contains a boatload of Zooey Deschanel, keep that up and they're going to change the location from The Hundred Acre Wood to the "Hipster Acres Starbucks''
It's cute- Craig Ferguson is funny and I like Eeyore's tail.
