MFT – 7 – 22 -11

1. My Mistake – Eleanor Friedberger – The sister in Fiery Furnaces, is not only detailed lyrically which makes sense, but detailed rhythm which you kinda think she'd  pass on.

2. I Wanna Go (Oliver Remix) – Britney Spears – The best of 8 remixes of one of the best songs on her new album. The whistling intro is great and this is more house, with a twitchier thud.

3. Life Machine Support – Paul Oakenfeld – Here to reclaim his crown, this is old fashioned Chicago House, no dubstep for out Paul. The drum machine is so consistent, the dancefloor moves in sympathy.

4. Baby Let's Play House – Arthur Gunter

5. So American – Portugal, The Man – Too busy? What's with the flute? But pretty enough in a sixties way.

6. Rhoda's Theme – Fall On Your Sword

7. Mysterious Ways – U2 – Best lines? "If you wanna kiss the sky, better learn how to kneel… on your knees, boy ".

8. Love Is Real – Theophilius London

9. The Edge Of Glory – Foster The People – Lady Gaga – Up and coming electronic kids have themselves a blast They seem to be sawing the song in half.

10. Bad Day (Athena Demo) – R.E.M. – Never understood why this didn't get on Life's Rich Pageant. Maybe the "Please don't take my picture" line put em off. Hot harp break.
