Drive By Truckers have been around for 13 years. That's amazing to me and a tribute to old age. But with bands like the late great For Science calling them out by name (in the song Headaches), you know for certain they have left an indelible mark on alternative rock and roll.
The wonderfully titled Ugly Buildings, Whores and Politicians: Greatest Hits 1998-2009 is set to be released on August 2 . Granted, these guys have never had a number one hit, but they have been paying the bills and earning new fans through the years.
